The Training Awards

To enhance and expand the Plaisterers’ Training Awards we are partnering with the trade Federation for our industry sector FIS. This means that in 2022 we will not only recognise and reward the highest standards of achievement in training within the UK plastering trade but also in the wider finishes and interiors sector.

The competitions are open for nominations from 29th March with a deadline for entry on 15th August 2022.

The Training Awards will be presented in the wonderful surroundings of Plaisterers’ Hall on Tuesday 22nd November 2022.  As in previous years there will be Trophies and prizes for small and large Colleges and Independent Training Providers, the winners receiving a Gypsum crystal Trophy to take with them.

There will be prizes for Students and Apprentices in both Plastering and Interior Trades, with a shortlist of three nominees in each category invited to the presentation with winners announced on the day.  Thanks to the generous support of the Plaisterers’ Charity all 12 students/apprentices will receive a monetary prize.

To recognise the exceptional contribution made by employers and mentors to training in our sector there will be an award for both FIS member’s training programme and a mentors’ Award.  The Lifetime Contribution to Training Award will also be open to nominations across the sector.

All entries and nominations will be completed on-line.
