We were delighted to join Bonny Downs Community Association (BDCA) recently for the opening ceremony of their new building, the WELLcome Hub in East London.
The building had been sitting empty for many years, and intermittently used as a night shelter until Newham Council gave BDCA use of the building. The renovation of the space was made possible thanks to financial support from donors, including the Worshipful Company of Plaisterers.
BDCA provide community social activities as well as support services such as emergency food and advice to help their community through crisis, so we were very pleased to be able to help with this fantastic project.
