Young Livery Group have been out and about

In March and September this year members of the Young Livery Group enjoyed social evenings in the City. Something different from our usual Livery events and an opportunity to chat with members of the Company. Meeting for food and drink beforehand, in March they took on the challenge of Virtual Clay Pigeon Shooting and in September, Electric Shuffleboard.

Virtual clay pigeon shooting takes the precision and excitement of traditional clay shooting and reimagines it through cutting-edge virtual reality. Electric shuffleboard is one of the most interactive and social games around. This digital take on the pub classic combines traditional shuffleboard gameplay.

Both evenings provided younger members of the company an opportunity to build that ‘Brotherly Love’ we often talk about. Members who have attended these social evenings have then found the Livery’s formal events less daunting and have been made to feel a stronger part of the Company of which they are the future.

We are looking to hold events again next year in March and September. We have some ideas but new ideas are always welcome. Therefore, if you are a young member of the Livery we’d love to see you at these social events, so that you can experience the full range of opportunities that come with membership.
