Esme Walker receives Freedom of the Plaisterers’ Company

Esme Walker, the Plaisterers’ Company Bursary student on the Prince’s Foundation Heritage Skills Course 2018-2019 received her Freedom of the Company at the Spring Livery Dinner at Plaisterers’ Hall on 2nd April 2019.

The Plaisterers’ Company established a partnership with the Prince’s Foundation during 2018 to support students on the Foundation’s Building Craft Programme.

The first recipient was Esme (pictured), a 28-year old plasterer from Skelmersdale in Lancashire.

The Plaisterers’ Company is committed to training and life-long learning in the plastering trade by offering formal Annual Bursaries,.

The beneficiaries will probably be students currently undergoing training in the sector but may also be established practitioners who wish to enhance their knowledge or experience.

The Plaisterers’ Company Industry Committee will give consideration to any application that supports and maintains the quality and diversity of plastering and drylining skills in the UK.
