Zoe Boys, a Freeman of the Company, and Charmaine Etienne, who is currently applying to become a Freeman, gave an extremely well received presentation to the air cadets of 282 Squadron about their careers on Friday 24th January 2020.

Both originally met as cadets at 282 and have remained friends ever since. They are now on the 282 Civilian Committee and Zoe’s mum, Joan, is the Chair of that Committee. Their support and understanding of 282 is invaluable.

But more than that, as they explained about going to university, building their careers, making career choices, getting qualified and now having very responsible jobs,  many of the life skills they first learnt at 282 they have subsequently used in their lives.

Great role models for the cadets and so relevant. As the picture shows they are proud to still be involved and the cadets were delighted to show their appreciation.

These evenings were initially started by members of the Company who wished to engage with, and support the cadets.
