A successful Livery Halls Walk

A successful Livery Halls Walk

The Master conducted a very successful Livery Halls Walk on Saturday 12th September. Joined by Renter Warden Tim Stokes, Valerie his wife, and three of our new Freemen; Steven Gilkes, Charmaine Etienne, and Tom Barton. We visited, from the outside, over 25 Livery Halls before having lunch in our Hall. We were led by a first class Blue Badge guide, Guy, who guided us expertly round the City.

After lunch we visited the Bakers Hall where the Clerk, Lance Whitehouse, gave us the Royal tour. A fantastic end to the walk and we are very grateful to Lance and his wife for coming in and opening the Hall for us.

The walk was in aid of the Master’s charity, The Children’s Society; thank you for the donations received so far – and it’s not too late to make a donation for the Livery Halls Walk eitherDONATE NOW
