Great run Chris!

Liveryman Chris Mackey completed the Great North Run on 12th September under cloudy skies and some rain. Over 49,600 runners took part raising overall some £28m for a huge range of charities. Chris was placed 16,094th!

He says: “Listening to runners who have previously completed the original GNR course, this revised one (as a result of Covid) was harder with the last 3 miles almost all uphill, weaving around the centre of Newcastle (thanks Sir Brendan [Foster]!). It was a great day, and a fantastic experience. But most of all a big ‘thank you’ for supporting my efforts!”
