Secret Rivers of London Exhibition

Secret Rivers of London Exhibition

Did You Know? Before Britain separated from the Continent of Europe 8000 years ago, the mighty River Thames flowed into the River Rhine.

Did You Know? In 1849 10,000 Londoners died from cholera in 3 months from drinking the filthy polluted water of the Neckinger.

The Master, Upper Warden, Past Master Reg Denby and his wife Pauline do know because they were among the privileged few who went on the Master’s trip to the Museum of London (in support of the Master’s Charity) in the Docklands on the 19th September to see the Secret Rivers of London Exhibition. Well worth the 8am start! The Master will tell you more, but I enjoyed it so much, I have now booked for the Master’s next trip to the Museum of London, to see the Beasts of London Exhibition in the Barbican on Thursday, 26th September, 8am to 10am. Your early start will be rewarded by strong coffee and a light breakfast! Come on Liverymen and Freemen roar into action and book now.  Contact the Master to book.
