If things had gone to plan I would have been leading a group of Plaisterers to see the Old Royal Naval College in Greenwich on May 20th. The reason I had chosen this World Heritage Site is that I had been a trustee there for some 8 years and knew keenly the importance of plasterwork in the Painted Hall. The chance to have a full guided tour with an expert and to have experts in the group to comment was too enticing a chance to miss. Maybe it will happen at another time but, for now, here’s a ‘virtual’ trip.
Alderman Alison Gowman, Master Plaisterer
